Angels Homes is a set of three apartments in a preserved 1917 building, right in the heart of Penha de França — one of Lisbon's real, lived-in neighbourhoods. The building has stood since the First World War, and its facade is protected exactly as it was: the original tiles, the paintwork, the details all date back to 1917.
Inside, each apartment has been carefully renovated to be comfortable and calm, while keeping the character of the original home. You'll feel at home here. Guests tell us the same thing again and again — that it's homely, quiet and welcoming, the kind of place you're happy to come back to at the end of the day.
Penha de França sits just outside the main tourist corridors — quiet enough to feel like a real neighbourhood, close enough to Alfama, Graça and the city centre to be wherever you need in minutes. The metro is an eight-minute walk. The neighbourhood miradouro is five. Both are worth the trip.
